Why Stoneridge
A Marketing Job With Something Real Behind It
Most marketing roles ask you to make something out of nothing. This one does not. Stoneridge Decks & Outdoor Living has been building custom outdoor spaces across Virginia and West Virginia since 2006. Seven offices, more than 8,000 completed projects, and two decades of work that has never been properly shown off. We are looking for the person who wants to fix that.
Twenty Years of Untold Story
8,000 builds. Before and afters, transformations, families who waited years for their backyard. The material is already there.
You Will Not Be Sitting Still
No two weeks look the same. Job sites, home shows, the office. If you want a desk you never leave, this is the wrong job.
One Brand, All the Way In
You are not spread across a dozen clients. One brand, one team, and work you can point at and say you helped make that.
You Will Learn the Whole Thing
You work directly with our Marketing Manager and our outside agencies. Social, CRM, photography, campaigns. Very few places let you touch all of it.
Seven Markets to Work
From the Shenandoah Valley to greater Richmond. Different markets, different customers, plenty of range to work with.
Local, Not Corporate
We are not a franchise. No brand manual from a head office three states away. We built Decks for Vets because we wanted to.

The Fit
What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- Work ethic and drive. You take ownership, you follow through, and you do not need a task list handed to you every morning
- Responsible and trustworthy. You will be in customers’ homes and handling customer information, so character matters here as much as skill
- Friendly and comfortable talking with homeowners. At a home show you are the first impression people get of us
- Social media awareness and hands on experience, personal or professional
- Camera and photography knowledge. You know how to frame a shot and get a clean, well lit photo
- Computer literate and quick to pick up new software, from the CRM to spreadsheets to scheduling tools
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites for photos
- Valid driver’s license and willing to travel between our markets
Nice To Have
- Meta and Google Ads experience
- Video editing, even at a phone and CapCut level
- Canva or Adobe
- Worked in home services, construction or contracting before
- CRM experience, especially GoHighLevel
- Drone pilot license (FAA Part 107), or the interest and aptitude to get one. We will look into covering the certification and we provide the equipment
If you read that and thought you hit most of it but not all of it, apply anyway. We would rather talk to someone hungry than someone who checks every box.
